19 Scriptures About Worship

God deserves to be worshiped and worshiping him is part of our christian responsibilities.

We worship God to show reverence and adoration. Knowing that he is the Lord of Lords, King of Kings, sovereign and supreme in power & authority is what makes us worship him.

Simply put God is the one in charge of your life and that’s why you have to worship to acknowledge him for who he is.

May we be encouraged by these scriptures to worship

1 Chronicles 16:29  Give to the Lord the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence. Worship the Lord in all his holy splendor.

Psalm 95:6  O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

Psalm 96:9  O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

1 Corinthians 14:25  As they listen, their secret thoughts will be exposed, and they will fall to their knees and worship God, declaring, “God is truly here among you.”

Deuteronomy 26:10  And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O Lord, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the Lord thy God, and worship before the Lord thy God:

True Attitude in Worship
Psalm 5:7  Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house; I will worship at your Temple with deepest awe.

Psalm 29:2  Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

John 4:24  God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Psalm 89:7  a God greatly to be feared in the council of the holy ones, and awesome above all who are around him?

Habakkuk 2:20  But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him.”

Leviticus 10:3  Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when he said, ‘I will display my holiness through those who come near me.  I will display my glory before all the people.’”  And Aaron was silent.
