Special Promises To Those Who Exercise Faith

God expects us to exercise faith because it pleases Him.  How do we exercise faith?  By hearing and hearing the word of God because it’s in hearing that we believe and by believing we take action by putting what we believe to work.

“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ . . . And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:26-29.  Abraham was a man who lived a life of faith and he’s known as the father of faith.  Christians are also heirs and spiritual descendants of Abraham and are to receive their eternal inheritance of these promises through faith.

Here are seven promises to those who exercise faith

Answer to prayer
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive (Matthew 21:22)

Power
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. (John 14:12)

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  (Romans 10:11)

But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it.  (Colossians 1:23)

Sonship
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12)

Spiritual Inheritance
Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him?  (James 2:5)

Spiritual Assurance
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  (1 John 5:14)

Spiritual Foundation
For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”  (1 Peter 2:6)

Soul Rest
For only we who believe can enter his rest. As for the others, God said,“In my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest,’  (Hebrews 4:3)
