Life is about warfare. You have to fight through it all – fighting for things you have or things you don’t have. When you need a good marriage you’ll have to fight for it and to keep the marriage you have to fight. When you feel as if all hope is lost you still have to gather courage and fight because the grace of God is so sufficient to pull you through. For this reason, you cannot afford to give up. Fight for your kids, fight for your husband, fight for your marriage, fight for everything that doesn’t seem right in your life. Don’t lose your faith because victory belongs to Jesus.
Be encouraged by these verses when you are tempted to give up.
Psalm 27:14 Don’t be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and he will come and save you! Be brave, stouthearted, and courageous. Yes, wait and he will help you.
Romans 12:12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
Psalm 146:5 But happy is the man who has the God of Jacob as his helper, whose hope is in the Lord his God
Psalm 39:7 And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.
Psalm 71:14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more
Lamentations 3:26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
2 Chronicles 15:7 But as for you, be strong and courageous, for your work will be rewarded.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
