Verses For When You Are Discouraged

Why do we get discouraged and disappointed?  Discouragement comes in so many forms. Delay in fulfillment of desires can be a reason for discouragement. At times it is hardship and hardness of life’s problems.  Other times it’s the difficulty of a task we are unable to perform.

Whatever is the reason for your discouragement Jesus Christ is not overcome by Life’s problems.  Failure and discouragement are foreign to Him.  Isaiah 42:4 states “He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. – kjv. He shall not fail you.

Be encouraged by these scriptures.  Meditate on them, personalize them and speak them out to the problem.  For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
