Memory Verses For June

Another beautiful month is here again.  Be an overcomer, be a winner and be that special woman God created you to be. “Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,” (1 Peter 2:2 NLT).  Let’s do well as women to always keep the word of God in our hearts and on our lips; meditate on it day and night.
Here are our 5 verses for the month of June ’18.

Hello there! This month of April is a beautiful month and as such, I’ve put together these powerful scriptures for your meditation.

Luke 24:6-7  He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Isaiah 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Matthew 28:6  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.

Mark 16:5-6  When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a white robe sitting on the right side. The women were shocked, but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body.

Zechariah 9:9  Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Memory Verses For March: 5 Scriptures About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is very important for your knowledge of God.  You cannot know God by your own strength or science of reasoning.  You need the help of the Holy Spirit to know God.  That’s why you need to pray for the Holy Spirit to teach you and influence you anytime you red the Bible or listen to  messages.

The Holy Spirit influences you in so many ways – your understanding, physical strength, character, prayer life, etc.

Here are some scriptures about the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Romans 8:26  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Continue reading “Memory Verses For March: 5 Scriptures About The Holy Spirit”

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.” – 1 Chronicles 16:34. There are times we forget to tell the Lord  ‘thank you’.  The fact that we are alive is enough reason to say ‘thanks’.  Your prayers may not have been answered but you still have to say thanks.  Thank God for how far he has brought you, for his faithfulness, for things he’s done and is yet to do, thank him for the gift of life, for his creation, etc.  In fact, there’s a whole lot to be thankful for.  Here are some verses on Thanksgiving.

Psalm 100:4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalm 92:1  It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:

1 Thessalonians 5:18  No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. Continue reading “21 Wonderful Verses On Thanksgiving”

Memory Verses For The Month of October

“You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.  You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.  You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens are above the earth.  For if you will be careful to do all this commandment that I command you to do, loving the Lord your God, walking in all his ways, and holding fast to him,   then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations greater and mightier than you.” – Deuteronomy 11:18-23 (ESV)

Below are five scriptures to memorize for the month of October 2017–one scripture for a week.  May we hold fast to His word.

Lamentations 3:22-23  The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Matthew 21:22  And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

1 Peter 5:7  Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

2 Timothy 3:16  All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

Philippians 4:13  For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength

10 Of My Favorite Bible Verses

The Psalmist says your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.  I believe one of the things the word of God does is to lighten our path in times of darkness. The word of God also makes our ways prosperous and give us good success (Joshua 1:8). Even though all scripture is breathed out by God yet I’ve grown to love some popular ones.  I call them My Favorite Verses. Be blessed as you read and meditate on them.

Numbers 6:24-26  The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Psalms 3:3  But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

Psalms 34:19  Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Psalms 37:4  Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Continue reading “10 Of My Favorite Bible Verses”
